This year marks the 100th anniversary of Mr Lee Kuan Yew’s birth and 8 years since his passing in 2015. To commemorate his life and contributions as Singapore’s first prime minister, the National Museum of Singapore and the Founders’ Memorial have launched a digital trail spanning the Semangat yang Baru: Forging a New Singapore Spirit exhibition and the post-war Singapore section of the Singapore History Gallery, both located in the National Museum of Singapore.
As you journey through the exhibitions, learning about Mr Lee’s legacy and the values he embodied as well as his life and career, look out for the LKY 100 icon, which are touchpoints on the digital trail. There will be clues on the trail to help you locate the touchpoints. Once you have located each touchppoint, scan the item at the touchpoint with your phone.
Once you’ve completed the digital trail, you will be sent an email with a QR code which you can use to redeem a free limited edition Lee Kuan Yew Commemorative Magnetic Pin Badge from the vending machine at the Singapore History Gallery exit on Level 1.
